Storm’s A Brewin’

Day 5 of 14 affirmation challenge is beginning with a VERY big breathe and a lot of tears and angry words towards…well, everyone and everything. Screaming F&% Y%& at the top of my lungs to fate, feeling absolutely spent, hoping to be swallowed by the earth doesn’t even begin to describe my morning. And it’s not even 10 am.

Today’s Affirmation

I release the need to control my life. What you control the most causes you the most PAIN. Breathe in, breathe out and let go of trying to control YOUR LIFE.

Louise Hay and Robert Holden

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

The storm in Houston is passing. In its wake, it left my recently-fully-paid-off car flooded (no one was hurt *blessing*) and sitting in a shop waiting to discover the damage. My insurance company and my checking account can’t take much more. The good news is I don’t have any more vehicles to crash, drown or, well, anything really.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

The storm is mild compared to the storm in my heart swamping my soul. But I’m breathing. In. Out. In. Out.

This too will pass. Let go. Let God. I have no other choice.

Sending you love and happiness.
