But as we are getting down to the wire…only 3 more days until Christmas…here are a few quick and easy mason jar ideas for happy gifting.

Jolly Holiday Cocoa

  • ¼ cup powdered milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup candy cane, crushed
  • mini marshmallows
  • mini bottle of Baileys or chocolate liquor (optional)
  • Christmas ribbon, tissue and tags (get as creative as you like here)

DIRECTIONS
Begin by gently pouring each ingredient into the jar to create the layers. I generally go from heaviest to lightest ending with the marshmallows on top. To add an adult twist to the gift, tie a mini bottle of Baileys or chocolate liquor using ribbon.

DIRECTIONS for enjoying a hot cup of cocoa:
Empty contents of jar, mix to make sure ingredients are well combined. Mix 1/4 cup of cocoa mix with 1 cup of hot water. Enjoy!

One last thing, remember the super easy sugar scrub from a few days ago? If not, pop over to that post. I’ll wait. Back? Great. Mason jars make great containers for sugar scrubs too!
