My favorite little girl in the whole world is on her way to visit. Her mama asked me if I could whip up some lotion for our baby girl’s sensitive skin (who is not a baby anymore).
I have a simple recipe from a few years ago but my daughter shared with me a lotion from Pinterest that soothed Miss R’s skin that a friend had given her. What’s a grandma to do? Mix up a new potion!
Looking at the recipe I noticed it was a bit similar to the one I usually make only with an addition of cocoa butter and vitamin E. Now to be honest, I used emulsifying wax in this batch since I didn’t have beeswax on hand. Let s hope it is as soothing for her skin. If not I’ll whip up a new batch once I pick up beeswax.
I think the best part about this lotion is the delicious scent of cocoa. I just adore the rich, comforting scent.
