What’s your 2021 word of the year? Or do you bother with this little ritual? I’ve dabbled with identifying a word of the year here and there but, I’m afraid, like many other new year resolutions, it fades into the background and then sometimes completely disappears.

There are sites which will help you identify your word like DaySpring.com which has a short quiz, only 7 simple questions, and then provides you a beautiful image with your word to download. My 2021 word of the year is comfort. Not a bad word to contemplate after the year we had and how 2021 is off to a rocky start. And, honestly, I like how it sounds in my mouth as I say it and I like how it makes my heart feel all nice and cozy like a warm blanket on a chilly night. Maybe its the perfect word for me. If I can stick with it.
So what’s your 2021 word of the year? Have you given it any more thought? The more I think about the word comfort the more I like it. And just maybe as we navigate this next cycle around the sun it may be a guide post for me and, in turn, for others. Who knows. But let’s give it a go!
