“Everything ok?” reading the text message I quickly send a thumbs up emjoi back, then added ‘just busy.’
I’ve ducked out from posting much of anything and shied away from videos altogether for the last several months. I appreciate those of you have reached out and just want to add that I’m ok. Like many of you I am navigating these changing days, quietly watching the crazy drama from the sidelines and very, very, very cautious of navigating public forums. I’ve continued to post lightly to Instagram but even there I am slowly falling quiet.
Freedom of speech fading fast
Be careful.
I am a self-professed NPR junkie, but I have even turned that off for now. I know, I know, but all the negativity floating on the airwaves leaves me feeling dirty and in need of a hot shower to wash away the ugliness spewing like a geyser of icky goo.

People are being threatened, fired and persecuted for posting, commenting or voicing an opinion online. Pictures and videos, artfully edited, posed as real news so many times that it appears that the first amendment of the US Constitution is being stretched in this ever-morphing country into something unrecognizable. Real and unreal blend, true and untrue
Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Petition
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791. The first 10 amendments form the Bill of Rights
We the people… as our society comes together let us remember to come together in peace and understanding. Remember to do so in love and light, setting aside the powers at play that want to divide us. Because as a divided nation, a divided people, a divided society we are ripe for the picking.
