It’s all fun and games until the toilet paper runs out. Seriously. Seeing the empty store shelves and listening to my colleagues, from across 3 different countries, on a virtual meeting, expressing their concern about the virus shows just how far and wide this thing goes. But it also shows just how much we are all ONE. We are in this together.
And possibly out of toilet paper too.
AnyHOO.
Like some, I’m extremely blessed that I work for a company that allows me to work from home. I know, however this shakes out, financially speaking, I will weather the storm. My prayers are for health as well. All that being said, my thoughts keep going to those who are not that fortunate. Those who are struggling to make ends meet, juggling from bill to bill, pay check to pay check and now what?
Jobs are lost, new fledgling businesses closing door and maybe for good, hell, big businesses are closing too (let’s hope they pay those who they send home) and this is happening all over the globe. It’s heartbreaking. Yes, here in the US, the government is talking about economic relief but will it be too late, and not enough, for some? I don’t know. But my prayers are for all of us, as one world, is to support each other through this dark night. Be there for our family, our neighbors and our community. Whatever that looks like…be there for those who are in need.
Hope
There is a glimmer of hope, sparkling like a star above us, that through this global change we will become a new, global community, united. We are being pushed to slow down, to simplify, to withdraw physically, but through this exercise we are connecting energetically and that is a diamond to hold onto. There are blessings all around us, we just have to recognize them.
Stay safe out there. And let me know if you find toilet paper.
Sending you love and happiness.
