You Can Do Magic…

Here I am sitting in the airport waaay too early, ready to get on a plane to Denver.

The car arrived 45 minutes early.

I’ve spilled coffee on my sweater.

And I’m heading into a spring snowstorm.

Let’s hope that I threw the right clothes in my bag as I made the driver wait ten minutes tossing my hair up, running out the door.

You Can Do Magic

Here’s the deal; I have no idea what to expect over the next 5 days.

As part of our pre-work we were to identify 3 goals, wishes, desires, or whatever label you want to put on it that we want to get out of this workshop. I should be upfront right now and let y’all know I’m a terrible student, procrastinating every chance I can get.

I’ve thought about it. I even pulled out a pen and stared blankly at the notebook in front of me. I’ve drawn cards pointing me in a pretty positive direction.

But, no, I don’t have a clue on what to expect or even concrete “goals”. I just know that I want to shake things up a bit. I want more. But what that looks like is fluttering just beyond my consciousness, dreamlike.

There is an author Florence Scovel Shinn that I can’t quite get out of my head, “health, wealth, love and perfect self expression” she wrote in the Game of Life and How to Play It in 1925.

I suppose if there is anything I wish for is for that. May we all find health, wealth, love and perfect self expression that is divinely selected for our highest good. This is my desire. My wish. Hey, maybe I’m not that bad of a student after all.

Sending you love and happiness. ❤️
