Picking a candle color sounds simple. After all, candles have been used for thousands of years. They have been used for light, for heat, for romance, and even to measure time. But did you know, as with many things, there are hidden meanings to the color of candle you choose to burn?

Tonight, before I sat down to write this post, I lit several white candles and a large lavender candle that is half way burnt. It’s a favorite of mine. As I lit each candle I whispered an intention of blessings and our highest good. May it be so.
