She attributes this new healthy approach and almost 20 pound weight loss to Barbara O’Neill, a gifted wellness educator, speaker and retired naturopath. She is also the health director of the Misty Mountain Health Retreat, located in Australia. I think it just may have to go on my bucket list as a place to visit. As we move further into the holiday season I know the thought of giving up gluten and sugar may make you hyperventilate. I know it makes my eyes cross. But watching a few of Barbara O’Neill’s videos I’ve been gradually rethinking my diet and moving away from the cookies, instead opting for a tangerine. Her video on exercise also has me looking at my dusty gym bag. Guess it time to put it to use again.

I’ve always been in the camp of moderation. I’m not an extremist and believe everyone has to do what is right for them. But if these simple healthy diet and exercise modifications can make a positive change then why not take a look? Can’t hurt. I know I’m taking a look at my own health & wellness approach.
