Im playing along with Cee’s Share Your World. I really enjoy participating and getting to see everyone else’s posts. If you haven’t played please take a few minutes and share your world. Would love to check it out.
My responses below:
Complete this sentence: I’m looking forward to….
Im looking forward to sharing a bit of my world as I head into my last few days of the 100HappyDay Challenge. This Happiness Challenge had some highs, some lows and some “what in the world?” moments scattered over the last 4 months. It’s made me think about things a little differently which can often be a good thing for this lady who careens haphazardly into life with the grace of an elephant. But between you and me and the dark web, I’m really looking forward to relaxing the pressure of posting every single day. Ssshhhh…that’s our little secret.
What is your favorite comfort snack food?
Anything I can eat! Everything looks utterly delicious when your body develops a mind of its own and decides swallowing is just too much work, taking a hiatus. Maybe it’s turning 50 and I’ve worn the whole thing down?
AnyHoo, What can I say, I’m always hungry for yummy, crunchy snacks. Instead I’ve discovered the simplicity of soft, easy to swallow foods. It’s been fun. And a great diet that I DO NOT recommend. I’m hoping to get this sorted so I can get back to enjoying the simple pleasures of a snack. Or a giant, juicy hamburger… decisions, decisions.
What was one of your first moneymaking jobs (other than babysitting or newspaper delivery)?
My very first job was working at a fast food restaurant. It didn’t last very long. I received my very first paycheck (once upon a time ago paychecks were made of paper), placing it in the provided locker. After my shift, I returned to the locker to find someone had stolen my purse – paycheck and all. Management refused to help. And, like a typical high strung teen age girl that I was, I quit. I never did get paid.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
